the specimen lesbian erotica cover

The dream started like most of the ones I had during that time period. Soft moonlight cast its pale glow into my bedroom as I lay on the bed with the sheets bunched up next to me. The only things protecting my modesty were the white bra and panties that I wore.

Turning away from the window, I see Andrea standing next to the bed. She’s naked. My eyes trace the curves of her body down to the thatch of pubic hair between her legs. Her long blonde hair covers her breasts like curtains. Her blue eyes sparkle with life and I can’t help but get lost in them.

‘Aren’t you going to invite me in?’ Asked Andrea, a soft smile crossing her delicate lips.

Pushing myself back enough to make space for Andrea, I pat the mattress and motion for her to join me. For the briefest of moments I think that she’s not going to come, but eventually she stepped forward and climbed on to the bed next to me. Her arm snaked around my hips, and drew me closer until I can feel her hot breath against my skin.

Brushing her hair aside, I cupped a nervous hand around her breast; gently squeezing it and rubbing my fingers over her hard nipple. A burst of excitement coursed through my body as Andrea leaned forward and slipped a nimble hand inside my bra. The pressure of her hand squeezing me causes a wave of arousal and I want nothing more than her hands to take in every inch of my body.

As our lips touched there was a sudden loud beeping that not only brought me out of the moment but also out of the dream.

The bedroom felt cold and empty when I woke up. I grabbed my phone from the side cabinet and killed the alarm, which, in turn killed my dream just as it was getting good. My body still ached for Andrea’s touch. But it was too late to do anything about it. I would be late for work otherwise.

As I get dressed, I can’t help but wonder if she dreams of me; or even thinks of me for that matter. Maybe I’m just another face in the crowd to her. I don’t know for sure, but I think I’m going to ask her out for coffee. Just to break the ice and hopefully get to know each other.

To be honest I’d do pretty much do anything to get close to her.

The Clarion Bio Tech Building was situated on a massive stretch of land outside the city limits. I’m sure its location was part of a raft of safety measures the company took to make sure nothing escaped from its labs and into the general population. I work with sea anomalies, Goo’s and other strange substances that haven’t been classified or studied yet. The bulk of my work usually revolved around collecting DNA samples. Anything that had no DNA profile was shipped upstairs to the analysis lab.

It leads to a pretty boring day, since the lab only receives new samples once a week. The rest of my time is usually spent reading reports from the analysis lab or watching YouTube science videos. And of course a fair chunk of my time is took up thinking about Andrea. Despite the lack of movement I can’t dream of another job that pays so well. I’ve been able to afford my own home and car among other things. So bring on the boredom and the daydreams.

I eased my new Ford around the bend and turned into the massive area that was the company car park. Thankfully, I was able to find a space near the main entrance and brought my car to a stop. The rain was just beginning to get a little heavier by the time I reached the front glass doors.

The air inside the main reception area was warm and welcoming. What really made me smile though, was the sight of Andrea standing behind the reception desk. She looked every bit as gorgeous as she does in my dreams. The only difference that time is that she isn’t naked.

I feel my cheeks flush red just at the thought of her body being next to mine.

‘Talia, Good Morning,’ said Andrea, her words are like music to my ears.

‘Good morning Andrea, any messages for me?’ I asked, inside I was building up the courage to ask her out for coffee.

Her expression turned from a frown to a surprised smile as she searched her desk and produced a small box. The box, most likely, contained a new substance I’m supposed to create a profile for.

‘Oh, a new specimen on a Monday,’ I said , carefully taking the box from Andrea.

‘I know, I was surprised when the courier dropped it off. It’s usually Wednesday for new specimens isn’t it?’ She asked.

I nodded my head in agreement, loving the fact she was having a conversation with me. ‘Yep, they must want a rush on this one.’ I said and turned as if I was about to walk away. I look at Andrea and smile. ‘Do you fancy grabbing some coffee with me at lunch break?’

I braced myself for the rejection, but when I found the courage to bring my eyes up to face her again. Her blue eyes had that infinite sparkle in them and a broad smile on her face. Her cheeks even flush red a little.

‘I’d like that a lot,’ said Andrea.

‘I’ll meet you here at lunch break,’ I said, beaming with joy.

‘I look forward to it,’ said Andrea, her smile only faltering when another co-worker entered the reception area.

‘I’m going to go and check this out,’ I said, holding up the box, ‘I’ll see you soon.’

And with that I headed to the lab with a fair amount of butterflies in my stomach.

Sampling DNA is an almost trivial task today. Years back it would have been a long process, but now it was so simple I often wondered why I need to have a degree. I supposed it was still cool to have doctor at the front of my name.

‘Okay, lets see what we have today,’ I said to myself as I turned the small box on my desk. I picked up a box cutter and started peeling away the layers of packing tape.

Once I had all the tape off, I opened the box and retrieved, what is in fact, a coffee cup with the lid on it. I felt my brow furrow as I lifted the cup out and on to my desk top. The cup was just a plain white one but someone had written the word ShipGoo with a black ink marker on it. Through the opaque lid, I can see something black at the bottom of the cup.

I pulled on my mask and popped the lid off. Sure enough, there is a black goo inside that looks like congealed motor oil. Next to the MasterProfiler, which is the machine the analyses and profiles the DNA, sat a small plastic dispenser with a missing lid. I reached in from the top and pulled out a circular sample pad that’s often used for liquid like substances.

I pressed the power button on the MasterProfiler and after a few cheery beeps the sample tray slid out from the middle of the machine. I squeezed the plastic casing off the sample pad and dipped it into the goo. Once I’m sure there is enough on the pad, I put it back into its plastic casing and put that on the sample tray. I pressed the small red button next to the tray and watch as the sample is pulled back inside the machine.

Within a few minutes I would be able to carry the specimen up to the Analytics lab that will do further testing on the specimen. They probably won’t be very happy their sample is in a coffee cup though.

As sure as fate, Declan took the coffee cup from me with a look of absolute disdain on his face. I stood in the analyses lab admiring all the cool pieces of tech they had compared to my bare bone operation downstairs.

‘Hasn’t anyone heard of a Petrie dish in this place?’ He said, under his breath mostly.

‘That’s just how it was sent to me. And you know I’m only allowed to sample the specimen before I bring it to you,’ I said, nonplussed. My mind was drifting towards thoughts of Andrea again. I hope she wasn’t being run ragged by visitors and other co-workers.

Declan pushed his glasses back up from the tip of his nose. He was a fairly young guy, I say late twenties at most, but the snooped way he walked and his mannerisms in general made him look way older than he was. A rumor circled very briefly that he had a crush on me. I quickly put that to a stop by being honest and letting it be known that I was gay.

‘I know, I know. I don’t mean to take out my frustration on you Talia.’ said Declan.

‘Is there anything else you need from me before I go on break?’ I asked, praying to the God’s he said no.

‘No, I think I’m good here. If you get a chance could you bring me up a glazed doughnut before break ends?’ He asked, his eyes still examining the cup with disdain.

‘Sure, I can do that for you,’ I said and quickly left the lab.

Andrea was in the process of packing up for lunch as I came down the stairs. My heart fluttered a little in my chest as I laid eyes on her again. If there was ever such a thing as a goddess then she was mine; or at least I’m hoping she will be mine. That part was yet to be uncovered.

‘You ready for that coffee now?’ I asked, reaching the reception desk with a smile.

‘Oh yes, you better believe it,’ said Andrea, her smile lighting up her face.

‘Let’s go then,’ I said, and motioned for her to follow me to the cafeteria.

She does a little run to catch up with me and then locks into step next to me.

‘How did things go with your specimen?’ She asked, and I’m surprised that she has an interest in my work.

‘Ah same old, same old. Some of it matched profiles we already had stored, but there is a large part of it that has no known profile,’ I explained, not really wanting to talk about work.

We entered the cafeteria, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that its almost empty, except for a couple of staff members that look like they’re nursing hangovers along with their coffee.

‘So what happens with the parts that don’t have a profile?’ Asked Andrea as we approached the serving counter.

‘Well, we keep the unknown profile in case another specimen matches it. It’s up to Declan and his lab to analyze it and categorize what it is,’ I explained, thinking surely she must be bored out of her mind. ‘Anyway, how are you enjoying working here?’

The woman on the other side of the counter hands our coffee’s over and we go to a table near the center of the room.

‘It’s been really good. Also helps that I have someone cute to look at everyday,’ Andrea said with a giggle.

My heart crashed to my stomach and I was almost on the verge of tears, but I gather myself together and stir a couple of sugars into my coffee. ‘Oh, do tell. Who are you crushing on?’ I tried to keep the mood light.

Andrea giggled again and her cheeks glow red. ‘You silly. I have a crush on you,’ she says and in that moment I feel like I’ve been lifted from the pits of Hell and straight up to Heaven.

‘Wait. How did you know I was a lesbian?’ I asked, genuinely curious.

‘Um, ever since you told anyone that would listen. Why did you do that by the way? I would have been terrified.’ She said and then I understand why.

‘Oh, there was a rumor going around that Declan had a crush on me, so I made a point of letting it be known I was gay,’ I said, my stomach doing somersault’s.

Andrea reached over the table and took my hand in hers. The softness of her touch sends a wave of electric excitement coursing through my veins.

‘I’m glad you did though,’ she said, stroking the back of my hand. ‘I don’t think I would have been brave enough to ask you out.’

There is a part of me that wants to pull her over the table and lock lips with her as passionately as possible. But the scared part of me managed to keep that under control.

‘I understand. It took me all my courage just to ask you for coffee,’ I said.

Andrea lets go of my hand so she can take a sip of her coffee. I miss her touch almost instantly.

‘Well,’ she says, licking froth from her beautiful pink lips. ‘Why don’t we have a proper date?’

Someone please slap me. I can’t believe the most beautiful woman in the building just asked me out. My mind raced to think of something. A time and a place that would suit us both. But the problem is: I haven’t dated in almost three years. I have no clue where the best places are now. So I spit out the first thing that comes to mind.

‘Would you like to come to my place for dinner tonight? I make a mean spaghetti Bolognese…Well, I mean its the one thing I don’t seem to burn,’ I asked, thinking she would probably reject the idea.

‘I would love that, ‘said Andrea, putting her free hand on top of mine. The skin on skin connection blew my mind. I seriously forgot how good it felt to have another woman touch me.

We both smiled and looked into each others eyes. I can see beyond the spark in hers that there is a longing there. A longing for something meaningful as far as relationships are concerned. I expected that she was picking up the same thing from me.

At least I hoped she was.

Andrea took another elegant sip of her coffee and glanced at her watch. Her eyes widen when she sees the time.

‘Shit, I need to get back to the front desk, my break is over,’ she said, sliding off her chair.

I thought she was going to just walk away, but she did something that completely took me by surprise. She moved to my side of the table, lowered her head and kissed me softly on the lips. The most pleasant tingling sensation I have ever had erupts all over my body and I licked my lips just to taste hers.

‘Oh, that was nice,’ I said, in a kind of stupor.

‘Text me your address so I know where to go tonight,’ she said, and I nodded my head in agreement and watched her head back to the main reception area.

It took five minutes for me to get over the sensation of her lips pressed against mine. I drank the rest of my coffee and got up to leave. I was almost at the cafeteria doors when I suddenly remembered to get the doughnut for Declan.

Everything seemed normal as I carried the doughnut up the stairs and towards Declan’s lab. I was expecting to see him working away at his computer like always. He seemed to be attached to a computer at all times and I wondered if he even sleeps.

‘Declan, I got your doughnut,’ I said, pushing through the lab doors.

The sweet treat drops from my hand as I stared at the horror before me. Huge, slimy green tentacles had erupted from the machine next to Declan’s workstation. I traced them with my eyes as they grew towards the ventilator. What horrified me even more is what happened to Declan himself. Some of the tentacles had wrapped themselves around his body and launched him head first into his computer monitor. It’s obvious that he’s dead, but the tentacles seem to keep hold of him.

Panicking, I bolt outside and hit the emergency seal button on the wall next to the doors. The sound of compressed air hisses and then a steel shutter comes down from the ceiling, completely closing the lab off to anyone. Then came the alarm. It’s high pitched squeal forced me to grit my teeth as I make my way towards the stairs.

‘What’s going on Talia?’ Asked Andrea, looking around frantically. Obviously she hasn’t been briefed on what happens in an emergency in the building.

I rush down the stairs and take her by the hand. ‘We need to get out of here before the building goes into lock down.’

‘Wait, what?’ Exclaimed Andrea. She tightens her grip on my hand as she runs a few paces behind me.

I open my mouth to explain everything, but just as I do the steel shutters come down on the main doors, effectively locking us in. That happened way quicker than it should have and I wonder if there something wrong with the buildings emergency response.

‘Shit!’ I said in frustration.

Andrea looks around confused. ‘What’s going on?’

‘There was an accident in the Analyses lab. Declan is dead,’ I said between breaths.

‘How?’ She asked.

Tentacles! Large tentacles!

‘Lets get to the safety point and I’ll tell you everything,’ I said and without another word I led Andrea to the elevator.

‘Wait!’ She shouts, letting go of my hand. ‘Where is the safety point?’

I pushed the button to call the elevator. ‘It’s in the basement.’

‘But that’s going to trap us deep inside the building,’ she cried, and under normal circumstances, in a normal building that would be true. But the Clarion building had an emergency escape tunnel in the basement for those that get trapped inside.

‘There’s an escape tunnel in the basement. It’s the only other way out,’ I said. The elevator doors spring open and I motion for Andrea to follow me in. But she hesitates. ‘Trust me, I really want our date tonight.’

Andrea chuckles and steps into the elevator. ‘So do I,’ she said and kisses me on the cheek. I pushed the button for the basement level and the elevator doors begin to squeeze shut. ‘So,what happened to Declan?’ She pulled her beautiful hair back into a tight ponytail.

I was tempted to tell her a lie, but quickly dismissed the idea. She would find out the truth one way or another and I would be the one that looks like an idiot. ‘Giant tentacles picked him up and sent him head first into his computer.’

The look of horror on Andrea’s face is one of pure shock. ‘Has this happened before? I mean an emergency like this?’

‘Not in the four years I have worked here,’ I said, shaking my head solemnly.

Suddenly the lift shudders and screeches to a halt. Something big and heavy seems to crawl down the lift shaft because it lands with a thud on top of the carriage. I look up just in time to see a giant tentacle rip off the roof hatch, reach inside and wrap itself around my body. I screamed in terror but above my own self preservation I thought of Andrea.

‘Don’t wait for me,’ I scream at her, tears rolling down my cheeks. ‘Get to the basement and get out!’

Before she can say anything, the tentacle pulls me up through the lift shaft.

There is nothing but darkness as the tentacle keeps a tight grip on me. We traveled upwards to the very top of the lift shaft and then I was being dragged through an air vent and into a wide hallway. The tentacle sets me down on the ground outside two large doors that I know lead to the CEO’s office.

Surprisingly, the tentacle uncoiled around me and fell to the ground limp, and I would like to say lifeless, but I feared it could spring back into action at the drop of a hat. My thoughts drift to Andrea and I silently pray that she made it to the basement. Then the double doors burst open.

There is no room to see. Instead, there is nothing but a massive row of razor sharp teeth attached to an equally big gaping maw. The monster snorts and roars but the tentacles remain docile.

Am I supposed to just throw myself into its jaws so it can eat me alive?

Like hell that was going to happen.

I glanced in all directions, looking for some form of escape. The only room that looked accessible to me was the boardroom. Turning my back on the monster, I nimbly step over the tentacles and run for the boardroom door. My heart sinks when I enter the room and realize there is no vent I can escape through. There’s nowhere for me to run.

And things get worse when the tentacles outside start to move again. I look around for something, anything that I can use as a weapon. On the elongated table there is a silver plater with cutlery and jars of condiments. The board often had lunch here, so its not surprising to see such things. For reasons I will never fully understand. I reach out and grab a bread knife and a jar of salt.

I jumped back with a squeal as one of the tentacles crashed through the door and snaked its way towards me. Knife in hand, I bring it down hard on the tentacle only for the blade to bend in half.

Shit! Now what?

The tentacle grips me and hauls me back in front of the beast. This time it shoves me forward before letting go. With nothing left to lose, I pop the lid off the salt jar and throw the contents into the waiting maw. I hit the floor with a soft thud as the creature lets out an agonized high pitch scream. The whole building begins to shake as the tentacles which have worked their way all through the vents and lift shafts start to writhe violently.

I turned my attention on the tentacles nearest to me. They writhe around the floor like they are in agony. Then their colors change from a mottled green to a bluish black color. The beast isn’t doing good either. The razor sharp teeth that looked set to devour me are falling out of its mouth, leaving behind a mangled mess of rubbery flesh. Eventually it stops moving and I know that it is finally dead.

Andrea! Her name springs to the front of my mind and I turn towards the elevator. I have no idea if it’s still working but I have to try. I need to find the woman I was deeply in love with.

‘You made it!’ Cried Andrea as she rushed over to the elevator to meet me.

‘Why didn’t you leave with the rest?’ I asked, confused.

Andrea cups my face in her soft hands and gently kisses me on the lips. ‘Because I wanted to wait for you.’ I lean in, kissing her more passionately. Our tongues clash and my body comes alive with arousal. ‘How about we skip the Bolognese and go straight to the main course.’ She breathes in my ear.

‘You’re not going to hear any complaints from me?’ I said and we went back to kissing again.

This time its not a dream. I lay in bed with the covers bunched up next to me. The pale moonlight illuminates the room and I’m wearing nothing except the skin I was born into. Andrea, in all of her naked beauty, comes out of the en suite bathroom and climbs on to the bed next to me. She has a lustful look on her face as she bends over and kisses me softly on the lips.

I think that’s where its going to end, but she keeps going. She lands kisses on my neck and then works her way down the middle of my chest. Her hands cup both of my breasts and her nimble fingers rub at my swollen nipples. A ball of passion and excitement like I’ve never felt before gathers in my stomach. Every part of my being is alive and fully aware.

Andrea continues downward and moved between my legs. A moan of sheer pleasure escapes from my mouth as her fingers slip inside me. Then her mouth joins the action. That ball of excitement in my stomach grows bigger as her tongue licks at my clit from all directions. I writhe under her expert mouth as she licks and sucks, fingers and rubs.

Taking myself by surprise, I let out a loud gasp. My whole body shuddering and fireworks in front of my eyes as I came. Wave after wave of sheer pleasure coursed through my body until there was nothing left except a glowing aura around me.

‘That was amazing,’ I pant as Andrea flops to the side of me. I finally get my bearings, turn to her and smile. ‘Now, it’s my turn.’

Andrea lets out a giggle as I roll over onto to her and pin both her hands above her head. I kiss her in places I’m sure she’s never been kissed before. I gently squeeze her pert breast’s. Kiss around her navel, before moving down past the small thatch of pubic hair. I lick, suck and rub with an almost careless abandon. The feeling of Andrea writhing and bucking under me sends me straight to heaven.

She arches her back and shudders one final time. I relax as she relaxes and climb back up to hold her in my arms. We kiss and then she rests her head on my chest. I play with her hair absently as my mind still reels from the pleasure of the moment. A moment I hope there will be plenty more of.

It took just over a week for the creature and its tentacles to be removed from the Clarion building. I’m assuming it was shipped off to another research facility to be inspected properly. I couldn’t image the higher ups losing that opportunity.

As for me and Andrea. We kept dating. Some times I would go to her little apartment. Some times she would come to my house. Some times we would even go out for the evening to see a movie, a show, or just to have a drink and a dance. Regardless of the places we went, the night always ended with us cuddling in bed.

I couldn’t imagine being with anyone else and Andrea told me the same thing one night over dinner. I was glad she said that, because that night I decided to propose to her. After a split second of hesitation, she smiled at me and said yes. As soon as the word left her lips I told her to pack her stuff.

Her home would be with me.
